Musique Concréte. Diploma Exhibition - Konstfack, Stockholm, 2010. An interactive installation showing the tangible qualities of sound.
Inside the space sounds emitted by the visitors were received by a microphone. This signal was sent through an amplifier to a low frequency speaker firmly attached to a container of liquid. The black liquid responded to the vibrations of the speaker thus showing resonance patterns on its surface. A mounted surveilence camera recorded the reflections and screened it on one wall of the space. The projection filled the space with light correlating to the patterns. The more sound the more brightness.
